KKC TAE KWON DO

 Its time for Day Camp! If you signed up, there are a few things you will want to bring: -Water -Any Gear you have -Bo (if you have, if not I have some to borrow) -Towel & Change of clothes Please arrive to class on time (5-10 minutes before) to get wristbands for your team events. Dominos Pizza and Gatorade will be provided for lunch. Anyone who is able to, bring a cooler of FILLED water balloons. These can be left outside the front of the school. Students not signed up for camp are welcome to attend the first hour class, Black Belts are invited to stay until 11:30.

Registration for Day Camp is active, and will close on July 11th. Any students not registered by this time will not be attending! You need the following code to register: KKCTKD Day Camp will be held on Saturday July 19th from 9:30am-3:30pm, overlapping our regularly scheduled class at Sweeney Elementary. It is an intensive camp where we will drill forms, techniques, sparring, as well as many fun activities and games. The cost is $60 which includes the camp, lunch (Dominos Pizza), and a t-shirt. Day Camp is open to all active KKC Students. *Black belts do not register- PM me separately your shirt size REGISTER HERE

 We will be breaking boards in all locations this week, Monday through Saturday! We will start halfway through the first hour classes. Board breaking is optional, the cost is $5 per board and the funds raised will go to Make-A-Wish MN!

We will be doing weapons class in Second Hour starting tonight and continuing through Monday. We will be focusing on Bo only this week! 

  Reminder- no class tomorrow 5/24 in Shakopee AND no class 5/26 in Waconia! Enjoy the long weekend!

UPDATE: Due to the severe weather predicted for tonight, class in Waconia IS cancelled. Stay home and be safe!  Reminder that students can go to other locations as much as they want during the sessions, this is a great way to make up any missed classes. We are super excited to be sending 21 students to the National Taekwondo Institutes Spring Tournament! Reminder to all tournament participants- read over your rule sheet for a refresher on our expectations for the day. Wear a clean uniform and don't forget to pack everything you need! You should arrive between 9-9:30am. If anyone would like to come watch the tournament, the address is: Owatonna Middle School 500 15th St NE Owatonna, MN Tournament starts at 10am and runs until around 4pm.
