Front Kick: use ball, instep or heel.
Round Kick: use ball, instep or shin.

STANCES

Ap-Kubi (Front Stance)
  • Weight 70% on front leg, 30% on back
  • One shoulder wide, shoulder and a half wide
  • Front knee bent, back leg locked

Dwi-Kubi (Back Stance)
  • Weight 70% on back leg, 30% on front
  • One fist wide, one shoulder long 
  • Feet are L shaped
  • Both knees are bent

Kemosea (Horseback Stance)
  • Weight is 50/50
  • Shoulder and a half wide
  • Knife edge of feet forward
  • Both knees are bent

Junbi (Ready Stance) 
  • Weight is 50/50
  • One shoulder wide
  • Knife edge of feet forward

Ap-Sogi (Walking Stance)
  • Weight is 50/50
  • Half shoulder wide, 3/4 shoulder long
  • Knife edge of feet forward

Cat Stance
  • Weight 90% on front leg, 10% on back
  • Half shoulder wide, 3/4 shoulder long
  • Back knee tucked behind front knee

Tiger Stance
  • Weight 90% on back leg, 10% on front
  • Half shoulder wide, 3/4 shoulder long
  • Both knees slightly bent, front heel off the ground
