KKC TAE KWON DO

 Reminder we are back at Middle School West tonight 😁  We are there all session with the exception of one date. August 26th of this session will take place at:  Chaska Family Learning Center  110600 Village Road

 Tomorrow is finally the day! Our 10 Black Belt Testing Candidates will be tested in second hour tomorrow 8/1. We will cover all levels in the first hour class, and anyone who wants to stay and watch the test at 10:30a is more than welcome.  Next week 8/8 we will party with our new (and old) Black Belts. Again we will do a full first hour, and party in the second hour. All students are welcome to attend, we will play some games, pick on the testing candidates, and have some cake! Plan to stay until 11:30a.

Day Camp tomorrow! A few things to note: Please arrive to the 9:30 class a little early to get your group wristband!  Parents are welcome to stay, or drop off and pick up by 3:30pm.  Lunch (Dominos) will be served at 12:30p, if you don't want pizza you may bring your own. Here is a list of things you may want to bring: -water bottle -targets -sparring gear -bo -towel/change of clothes -cooler of FILLED water balloons

 Last call for bo orders! Now that we have a set of forms chosen, we will be spending a bit more time on bo in advanced classes. We will also be using them for daycamp. Recommended for students green belt and above, but green stripes may want to get one as well.  Message me with orders or questions! Placing order Tues July 7.

 ATTENTION: starting tonight, this session at Chaska will be held at Chaska Middle School EAST (next door to our usual location), in Gym 1. Sorry for the late notice, no push-ups for late arrivals today 😅

Waconia and Chaska locations both start new sessions this week, please make sure you're on the list! Tonight is also the start of our schedule change in Waconia. Our new class times are: 6p-7p Beginner 7p-8p Advanced

 Second hour students- We will be doing weapons practice in the last half of advanced classes all week. Bring your bo!

 Kicking off a week of board breaking tonight in Waconia! $5 per board, we will start halfway through first hours in all locations this week. Money raised will be donated to The Bond Between pet rescue (formerly Secondhand Hounds) of Minnetonka 🐱🐶

 Glad the weather cleared up for us tonight! Reminder- Chaska class will take place in the Large Gym at Middle School West for the next 6 weeks of class.

 Reminder- I will be placing a gear order after Saturdays test. Please get your orders in by that time! 

 Reminder- no class tomorrow 5/23 or Monday 5/25 for Memorial day. Enjoy your weekend!

 Waconia and Norwood both start over this week, make sure you get on the list! For Norwood, the gym is unavailable this Thursday so class will be held in the Elementary schools Atrium instead.

April is always one of our busiest months, so here are some things to add to your calendar!  - Chaska location begins tonight!  - Advanced Students Only: Sparring Week for the last half of second hour. Bring full Gear! April 6-11 - All Students: Board Breaking in last half of first hour. Bring your $5 per board to raise funds for Childrens Minnesota! April 13-18 - Tournament Sign Up is due to Ms Tessa by April 11. Anyone not signed up by this time will not be participating in the tournament. -NTI Tournament April 25th. 

 Waconia has called off school for 3/16, so we will not be having class!  I have a gear order going in after Saturdays class, if you are a waconia student needing anything, you can PM me to order. 

Norwood Class: for tonight's class only, the location has been changed to the Atrium Lobby. 

 We will be breaking boards in classes this week to raise funds for Children's Minnesota. If you would like to break, bring your $5 per board!

 Belle Plaine students- tonight is the last class of the session! I've been informed there is an issue with the online sign up, Community Ed is working to fix it but you may call in and sign up over the phone as well! 

 ATTENTION: We made the decision to cancel tonight 1/21 in Belle Plaine due to weather.  We are also in for some cold weather this weekend. Its unlikely Shakopee will cancel but keep your eye on the blog/Facebook page, I will update if cancelled!
