Master Linda Kroells
My name is Linda Kroells. I am a 5th Dan Black Belt of Tae Kwon Do. In class, students usually call me Ms Kroells. I have been a Tae Kwon Do student and instructor for 37 years (Dec 1986-2024).
Teaching TKD has been a life long passion of mine. Watching a person grow through the art of TKD is very fulfilling, not only for me but for everyone that student is surrounded by. Nothing can surpass the feeling of watching a student learn and achieve greatness one move at a time.
In my short time, I have been lucky to have taught many thousands of students through the various colored belt ranks. More than 92 of those students were taught to 1st Dan Black Belt. Many of those trained to 2nd, 3rd, and even one to 4th Dan Master level. I consider all of my students to be my greatest accomplishments.
Some of my achievements would be attaining the rank of Master level and beyond, both in Song Moo Kwon as well as Kukkiwon. I was also inducted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2013, and later the Action Martial Arts Magazine's Hall of Honors in 2015.
None of this would have been possible if not for my understanding family. I am thankful they put up with the many hours required by my passion for Tae Kwon Do. Watching them all progress through their ranks as a very nice bonus. However without amazing help none of this would have been possible. Special thanks to John Finney, Tisha (Kroells) Hagen and Tessa (Kroells) Hagen. You were all vital in the growth of our students. Mr Finney for our early years, Ms Tish for our mid years and Ms Tessa for our recent years. Not to mention the help of our many Black Belts along the way.
As I am semi-retired Ms Tessa has been in full control of our class now in 2024. She has young blood and drive to take KKC Tae Kwon Do to all new heights. I have complete confidence in her abilities. See you at the next test!

Master Tessa Hagen
The daughter of Master Kroells, Ms Tessa started her Tae Kwon Do journey from the womb! She grew up going to classes with her mom- being babysat on the sidelines by the parents and then joining class at age 5. She went to classes because she had to, while her main focus was on dance/cheerleading.
Around brown belt she began to take her training more seriously, earning her black belt in 2008 at age 15. She took a few months off while she attended college, but soon realized it was her true passion. She received her Second Degree in 2012, and since then has consistently attended almost every class, even through pregnancies and having her own children! She finished 3rd Degree in 2015 when she was 8 months pregnant with her first child. She now has 2 boys, Kai and Caden, who are both students as well!
In 2023 Ms Tessa finished 4th degree and received her status as Master. After her mother retired in January 2024, she officially took over running the school, renaming it KKC Tae Kwon Do. She is very honored to carry on her mothers school, and is enjoying teaching immensely. Her greatest joy is seeing students grow, and being on the other side of the phrase she's heard her whole life- "I remember when you were this little!"

Stacy Brossard
Frequent Locations: Jordan, Belle Plaine, Shakopee
Ms. Stacy started training later in life. She was 37 when she first started back in 2011. She spent several years bringing her oldest children to class. After 10 years of that she decided to join herself.
When she first started, she never imagined she would make it to purple belt, let alone to black.
She received her first degree black belt in 2018 and her second degree in 2023.
Ms. Stacy enjoys attending the tournaments twice a year in Owatonna and helping the group while there.

1st Degree Black Belts
Ms Teagan has been training in Taekwondo since she was in second grade (2012!). Teagan's mother brought her to class hoping that it'd finally be an activity that she'd enjoy and do well in. Thankfully that was the case and she has been an active member ever since. Teagan tested for her black belt in 2019 right before COVID and tested again right before leaving for college.
Now, Teagan is down at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying Architecture and Design. She has been continuing to practice what she can while down here. She still keeps up to date on events and updates in the club. When she's back in state over breaks she makes sure to attend any classes she can to see the growth and development in all the students.

Andrew Keppel
Frequent Locations: Waconia
Mr Andrew has been with KKC since 2012, having trained in Kempo and Ninjitsu before coming to KKC. For several years, he sat against the wall at KKC watching his son work his way up through the ranks until he decided to get off the floor and resume is own journey to his first black belt. After working through seven years of knee surgery, back injections, and a cardiac arrest (during class...for which he is forever indebted to Master Linda Kroells, Mr. Randy and Mr. Cummings) he attained his 1st Dan in July of 2019.
On Sundays you can either find him at church in Victoria, or at the local bluegrass jam in Waconia with his mandolin. He lives in Mayer with his (saintly) wife where he has far too many hobbies; none of which he does well but all of which he takes great joy in.

Jacob Brossard
Frequent Locations: Jordan, Belle Plaine, Shakopee
Mr Jacob has been training in Taekwondo since he was six, starting back in 2011. Originally he started alongside his two sisters as a part of his PhyEd class for Homeschooling. Jacob made it to his Red belt before the Covid shutdowns in 2020, testing to his Black belt in 2023. He actively tries to hit every class he can to continue training, alongside working towards starting a career in the Electricians Union.

Jeff Gregus
Frequent Locations: Jordan, Shakopee
Mr Jeff has been participating in Taekwondo training since he was a young boy. He became involved in the sport at the suggestion of his father's good friend, and found that he really loved the discipline and the moral code, as well as the great exercise. He recieved his black belt in 2013, and is currently working towards his 2nd degree black belt.
When Jeff is not in Taekwondo class, he works at a Hy-Vee grocery store. Other interests include crime dramas, cartoons, and playing games with the family, as well as going on long walks with the family dog.

Kyle Iverson
Frequent Locations: All
Kyle has been doing TKD since about 2014. His son was in class and he eventually decided to join in, rather than just sitting along the side. He especially enjoys sparring up levels, and is most likely to get in trouble for sparring too hard in first hour. His special skill is showing people how well their steps work on a real opponent. The hardest level was brown belt.
His day job is a Lead Test Engineer and he raises cattle on his farm, then sells the meat.
